Jan Karon’s Mitford Cookbook & Kitchen Reader

What bliss to relax in front of a roaring fire with Jan Karon’s Mitford Cookbook & Kitchen Reader!

I recently met a major deadline for a book of my own, so I celebrated by lounging in the recliner for an hour or so with this delightful book.

Recipes are evenly interspersed with related passages from the Mitford novels. Mouthwatering recipes include favorites like Father Tim’s Company Stew, Baxter Apple Pie, Louella’s Cornbread, and of course Esther’s famous Orange Marmalade Cake.

The book also includes practical tips like how to crack and grate a fresh coconut, how to zest a lemon or orange, and how to season a cast-iron skillet.

Highly recommended!

  1. How exciting! When should we look for your book to hit the shelves?
