I’m heading to New York City for the IBPA Publishing University, where Seth Godin will be keynoting, and Book Expo America, the publishing industry trade show. Basically all of publishing in one huge place.
I’ll have a day and a half to see the sights of New York, so I asked my Facebook friends for suggestions. One suggested the Strand Bookstore.
18 miles of new, used, rare, and out-of-print books.

A week and a half wouldn’t be enough to browse all that glorious bounty!
And get this: my hotel is just a couple of blocks from the New York Public Library—one of the most beautiful buildings I’ve ever been in.
Can’t wait! I’ll be sure to tell you all about it when I return.
